Meet the Team Behind Post Oak Private Capital
Post Oak Private Capital LLC was established by banking industry veteran, Jon Heine, who previously served as Houston President of Veritex Community Bank (NASDAQ: VBTX). While at Veritex, Jon was responsible for leading approximately 245 employees at 9 locations in the greater Houston area. During his tenure, Veritex ranked as the 9th largest bank headquartered in Texas with total assets of $12B. In his prior role, Jon was responsible for leading all the Bank’s efforts in Houston following the acquisition of Houston-based Green Bank (replacing the CEO & President of Green Bank) in early 2019. This included Community Banking, Commercial Banking, Private Banking, Specialty Finance, Commercial Real Estate & SBA Lending. In 2024, following a 24-year career in banking, Jon decided to embark on a new chapter bringing his skill and knowledge in the banking industry to the private capital space. Jon's belief is simple. Recent industry changes have impacted the ability for credit worthy clients to obtain the necessary capital needed to grow and expand their business. It is Jon's conviction the niche created is best served by private capital, which offers customized and expedited funding, primarily secured by collateral such as real estate, at a slightly higher cost of capital than traditional bank financing. Providing customized capital to our clients allows them to be opportunistic with their business and investments while gaining high touch service from a Texas-based direct capital provider.
